PARKS and RECREATION Parks and Recreation Home Page

Northampton County's Parks, Trails and Open Space system consists of 22-county-owned parks, trails and conservation lands that highlight ridges, rivers, forest and farmlands.  The Parks & Recreation Division is responsible for the maintenance, management, improvement and development of the County's 2,300-acre park system as well as grounds maintenance at Gracedale, the Human Services Complex and the County Government Center. Our parks offer active and passive recreational opportunities for everyone. We also develop and deliver community outdoor recreation and environmental education programs for the public, and develop and implement conservation projects in our County Parks.
